Chinese Martial Arts is one of China’s fine cultural traditions. The movements such as kick, punch, throw, grab, fall, hit and so on are according to certain composition and the use of different equipment to achieve all kinds of skills from combat martial arts, to routine movement, to self-exercise.Martial Arts contains basic fundamental movements , Shaolin Quan, Nan Quan, Bagua Zhang, Xingyi Quan, Zui Quan, Tanglang Quan, Tongbi Quan, Yingzhua Quan, Dao, Spear, Swords, Gunshu, Machetes, Nunchaku (double-section cudgel), three-section cudgel, Jiujie Bian, Double Dao and so on.
Learning martial arts routines can improve people’s physical fitness and develop self-defense skills. Martial arts routines include movements such as flexion and extension, loop, balance, jump, somersault or flutter. Almost all parts of the body will be exercised. Throughout the learning of martial arts, it will not only improve physical fitness of the body but will also improve new skills in attack / defense.
中国武术--Wu Shu / Traditional Shaolin :武术是中华民族优秀文化传统。其内容是把踢﹑打﹑摔﹑拿﹑跌﹑击﹑劈﹑刺等动作按照一定规律组成徒手的和器械的各种攻防格斗功夫﹑套路和单势练习。套路运动有拳术、刀、枪、剑、棍等。武术包括武术基本功、少林拳、南拳、八卦掌、形意拳、翻子拳、醉拳、螳螂拳、通臂拳、鹰爪拳、刀、枪、剑、棍、大刀、双节棍、三节棍、九节鞭、双 刀、醉剑等。 学习武术套路,可以提高人的身体素质,健体防身。武术套路运动其动作包含着屈伸、回环、平衡、跳跃、翻腾、跌扑等,人体各部位都要参与运动。系统地进行武 术训练,对人体速度、力量、灵巧,耐力、柔韧等身体素质要求较高,人体各部位“一动无有不动”,几乎都参加运动,使人的身心都得到全面锻炼。武术套路运动 和搏斗运动,都是以技击作为它的中心内容的,通过学习武术,不仅能够增强体质而且能够学会攻防格斗投术,特别是武术功力训练,更能发挥技击的实效性

Sanda is the essence of the Chinese Martial Arts. Chinese Martial Arts consists of two forms - routine movement performance and attack / defence combat. Sanda belongs to the attack / defence form which involves two people practicing in pairs using techniques such as kick, hit, fall and defence and so on in today’s modern sport competition. It is a popular sport in Chinese culture over the years. Practicing Sanda will improve one’s strength, endurance, flexibility, sensitivity and other qualities. It helps develop wisdom, courage, flexibility and determination. Female participants in Sanda practice will develop better self-defence skills.
散打又称为散手。散打通常作为一种竞技项目被人们熟知,是两人按照一定的规则,运用武术中的踢、打、摔和防守等方法,进行徒手对抗的现代 体育竞技项目,它是中国武术的重要组成部分。中国武术有两种表现形式,一种是套路演练形式,一种是格斗对抗形式。散打就是格斗对抗形式的一种。
